About the course

Starting university is an exciting milestone, but it also comes with new challenges. Our University Fresher Safety Training is designed to give students the knowledge and confidence they need to stay safe, healthy, and resilient as they transition to independent living. Students will learn how to assess risks, respond to emergencies, and make smart decisions both on and off campus. With real-world advice, practical tools, and engaging lessons, this course provides essential life skills that go far beyond the classroom, helping students build a strong foundation for a successful and secure university experience.

Course Developers

Rob is a founder of Callida Freemont and a Risk Management specialist holding a a Masters in Risk Management. Darren is a risk management & training specialist who has operated globally. Scott is a serving police officer and founder of Emitha specialising in personal safety specifically gender based. Brett holds a PGCE and is a specialist in training development as well as being a certified First Responder, founder of First Line First Aid Training.
