About the course

Building upon our Low-Risk travel safety course, this progressive module aims to provide the traveller with an enhanced knowledge and understanding of the greater risks they will be facing when travelling to medium-risk countries. These may be; natural hazards, personal safety & self defence, trauma management, meeting drivers and what to do if involved in a road traffic accident.   With the Medium -Risk module the traveller gets all of the content from our Low-Risk course (18 modules) plus an additional 27 modules that cover the additional knowledge needed to mitigate the increase in risk being faced. The course is sequential and progressive taking the traveller through the various stages of their overseas trip, from preparing and packing, to arrival and safety once in country and then to managing the situation if the worse happens.   All of our content has been developed by experts in the fields of security, safety and health and done in line with ISO31030 and industry best practice.

Course Developers

Rob is a founder of Callida Freemont and a Risk Management specialist holding a a Masters in Risk Management. Darren is a risk management & training specialist who has operated globally. Scott is a serving police officer and founder of Emitha specialising in personal safety specifically gender based. Brett holds a PGCE and is a specialist in training development as well as being a certified First Responder, founder of First Line First Aid Training.
